my larger tapestries

These works were woven on several different looms

with cotton, wool and cowhair yarn.

All are 7.5 threads per inch. For all of my pieces I use a cartoon behind the warp threads as a design guide.

A cartoon is a black and white drawing/or print of a drawing, used during the medival ages for stain glass and handwoven tapestry.
